Setup Wizard

 

The first step in the duplicate removal process is to run the Duplicate Record Remover Setup Wizard to configure your data and use the fuzzy-matching engine to examine it for duplicates. 

Open the Setup Wizard with this program:

 

The Setup Wizard steps you through 8 steps that include:

• Selecting the source file or database connection where your source data will be imported from.
• Setting options on each of the fields you are importing such as data type, merging methods and which fields to use for comparing data when looking for duplicates.
• Importing and validating your data and the settings you have selected.
• Examining the data for duplicates and merging any that can be automatically merged.
