Licensing

 

The Duplicate Record Remover is licensed on the basis of the number of source records you want to examine.   Instructions on purchasing a license and unlocking the tool are on the License window of the Setup Wizard.

Evaluation Mode Limitations

 

The evaluation mode of the software is fully functioning in all respects, except it will only select a random selection of 20% of your records (to a maximum of 2000 records) to examine for duplicates.  This gives you a good feel for how the tool works, including the Processing Tool, however you will need to purchase a license to unlock the tool to examine all of your data.

NOTE: If you find the random 20% of records that are examined under Evaluation Mode do not return any duplicate records for you to test processing tool with, we suggest you manually add multiple dummy duplicate records to the start or end of your data set to artificially create duplicates that need to be merged.

 

Full License Limitations

 

Your license is limited to the following:

• You can only examine the number of source records your license allows.
• Your license is valid for installation on a single machine (unless you have purchased Gold-Level Support).
• Your license is valid for 12 months from the date of purchased (renewals are 80% of the full cost at the time of renewal).

 

Extending your License

 

Increase the number of records you can examine: If you needed to extend the number of records to be examined to beyond the limit you originally purchased you will need to pay the pricing difference between your current license level and the one you want to upgrade to - plus a US$85 service fee.

Install on a different machine: Gold-Level Support customers can request another license key at any time.  Standard-Level Support customers will need to pay a US$85 service fee to request a license to install the tool on another machine.

Renew your license for another 12 months: You can renew your license for another 12 months for 80% of the full cost of a new license (according to the prices at the time of renewal).
